Here is what was sent: "Your script shows plenty of talent, but we feel if we helped get this movie made it would probably disturb children like never before. Therefore, although it may be a gore movie, we wish not to even judge it or do anything to help get it filmed. What the hell are they talking about? This is a horror movie and so are the rest of the garbage I am sure they recieved. Thought this made good news though and thought that it showed what we are doing is working. A Possessed Hand Production The People that brought you XIII, Shadow Reaper, Fate of the Fallen, and The Fraud now bring you Merry Fucking Xmas. This is their bloodiest and probably leat tasteful venture yet. Possessed Hand Productions out of Colorado Springs has been doing edgy independnet flicks since 1998. The brain child of A.J. Ager who believes that there are places other than the two coasts to make movies. "Everybody keeps trying to make movies that mean something. I just want to entertain and get some kind of reaction. If that reaction is vomitting, so be it. There are many films that only solicit sleeping." says A.J. Ager director. A.J Ager wrote and is directing this script based on a need in the horror market. "Hey look everybody wants gore in their horror slasher films. So lets give them what they want. Nothing disgusts people anymore. They have seen it all. Freddy has turned into a stand up comedian. Clive Barker sold off his rights to Candyman and Pinhead and they must have let the retarded of Hollywood write the scripts for the last couple of those movies. Cabin Fever was a cool idea unrealized. What the hell is the deal with Jason anyway. He was a lot scarier before he became a punchline. Jeepers Creepers? Come on, it is all about suffering and who suffers more than women every 28 days for forty years of their life." Ager has ventured into the horror movie avenue before after being mostly a comedy writer. "That is still where my heart lies. The next flick I do after this will be back to making weird characters that say weird shit. That is what I love. Plus, you can't tell me there isn't anything funny about a killer named Aunt Flo." He has had some major influences when it comes to doing his horror movies. "Sure everybody says Romero and Hooper with their movies. And early Craven is pretty good. I love the style of the first Elm Street movie but it is the rawness of Last House on the Left that influenced me a bit more. I don't have the budget that he got later and what the hell was the deal with New Nightmare anyway. Sam Raimi is a huge influence on me. Plus all the low budget horror movies I have watched lately where I said to myself 'man those were a piece of shit'. I can make a piece of shit too. I also own the first two Silent Night Deadly Night movies and they were great promise unrealized. I think I learned a lot from them. You can't just put a slasher on the screen and have him kill people, plus you can't just make the audience wait an hour for the first dead guy." The choice of a female killer is unique as well. "Yeah, I want something that will be totally unique. There have been those who have tried to make a female slasher but usually they were just hookers and sluts anyway and are trying to seduce their prey. This is a little different." Possessed Hand shoots all their flicks in the Colorado Springs for little or no money. It is the content that matters most. There is never anything like what Possessed Hand Puts together.
